The most upbeat one so far, I have read is the one by LSI Logic President Corrigan in IBD, where he talked about the golden age of semis for the next ten years. Give me just three good years of consistent earnings increase and I'll be more than happy! ALSC will hit $ 50, then!

Regarding Dan Niles, I am not thrilled about his forecasts. He touted that CPQ would reach $ 60 ( during late 1998!). CPQ never hit $ 60 and actually went south to $ 16 and is at present languishing in the 20s. His asinine views on INTC last year were wrong as well. I take his views with a grain of salt, and only when it is in line with a dozen others, I give it any consideration.

ALSC sneaked in another $ 1+ gain today, on a dull day!
