I think you are too hard on others, especially when I have seen those on the other side be as bad or worse, but it is true that I am used to discussing differences without rancor. I went to a college that was mostly run by discussion class, and spent a great deal of time promoting alumni and adult education classes afterwards. Thus, I am used to a certain style of discussion........

You came on this thread slinging slurs like they were bouquets. Just what kind of response did you expect. Most of us are ready, willing, and able, to carry on a gentlemanly conversation but, when you come on like gang busters looking for a fight, you will undoubtedly get one. I, for one, react to the other person's post. I do not initiate the hostility, in most cases. ~H~
