Frank,

<< Intel Announces A 2-For-1 Stock Split And Cash Dividend Increase >>

Thanks. I had not noticed that. I soon will have the same number of INTC shares I had in October ... which leads to a LTB&H story and my best bonehead play of 1999.

INTC was the first stock I ever invested in. After that investment I neither added to or sold any of the original position (and never really intended to) but went through several splits and enjoyed some very nice appreciation in value.

In October (somewhat caught up in market momentum) I closed the position to add to QCOM, JDSU, and GMST. This despite full knowledge that semiconductor stocks are both cyclical & seasonal and the cycle was up and the season about to start.

In April when the market started to wander all over the place, I did a bit of rebalancing (got rid of a few shiny pebbles) and bought back 50% (share wise) of my original position.

I have not added up whether I am ahead of or behind the game based on that set of maneuvers for the short period of time involved.

But ... I have no plans to sell any of the gorilla INTC before I retire and although I may rebalance the portfolio from time to time, I remain basically a LTB&H Gorilla & King investor.
