TMoney: LOL!! We must speak about yer inability to communicate your enthusiasm! ;-) Anyway, the conference call was interesting. Some of what was stated has been heard before; but so too was there information provided that was new. The VLNC HET(parent) negotiations for one; the discussions with a laptop producer and them being further along for another. Along with this was clarification of Gen I(production ceased), II(being produced now and with ~150 Watt hours/kg capacity), III(production to start within 3 months and with 5 to 10% greater capacity above Gen II--indeed, Lev stated that could be upwards of 15% more capacity in laptops, given the heat factor, etc.) & IV(production to start by years-end or early next year and with capacity 20/25% above Gen III!!!). Additionally Lev seemed willing to entertain yield numbers talk....but not now...by mid-year or so. Speaking of yields, the Fable(?) line is scheduled for acceptance testing on 5/22, so we'll soon have another line ready to go. And that cell phone provider willing to use VLNC's product "unpackaged," that is...sealed into their product, is a great vote of confidence, albeit a qualified one due to the small, initial nature of the p.o.. And his points elaborating about the new VEEP were right on the money from my point of view. That is, the guy brings 17 years of marketing/selling experience as it relates to rechargeable batteries. Experience very hard to come by. Indeed, he's run an international marketing & sales shop before, he knows "all the customers and has a indepth network of connections in place...," etc., etc., etc.. This is EXACTLY the kind of person VLNC needs right now. Talk about having someone who can open the doors. And it sounds like, from the way Lev talked, the clincher on the new VEEP taking the role was his tour of the N.I. facility. Apparently he could clearly see what VLNC had, and could juxtapose it against his own experience such that he knew immediately what VLNC's future could be. Furthermore, Lev commented on having 4 sales personnel in place, globally, to sell the product. This may not seem like much; but when you consider the types of OEM's being solicited, this just might do nicely. After all, they ain't trying to get shelf space in any/all 7-11 styled stores, eh? So all-n-all it was a good conference call. And the stock price this afternoon seems to be saying the market is beginning to come around. Even so...be mindful of a possible bear trap. Ambushes have been known to occur with this equity from time to time. Still, I predict we'll see VLNC at a much higher valuation by years end than what it's at right now. Uhhhh...and this is barring a total market-wide melt-down, of course. Now let's see how the rest of the year goes...oh...and by the by..I like the initial earnings numbers. Surprisingly enough they match some of my "back of envelope" musings in private conversations with others regarding what we anticipated at the time. To which I can only say....WHEW! Heh! John~
