Not to get into a flame war.....

Oh c'mon Ted, you are also a veteran of "flame wars" from the old Prodigy days, so you just made me laugh with the above comment. Yogi

And just to let everyone know, you decided to become "my enemy" just because I kidded around about one of your hobbies, maritime law, over on the Michael Burke thread some time ago. Then you responded like a "real child" to me in my opinion, by posting private mail to me that you would no longer talk to me unless I gave you my private E-Mail address. Grow up Ted. As I have stated before, I have worked with famous people before, and they do not impress me in the least. No "tush kissing" or bowing down from me. Let the others here do that for you. Many famous people or TV personalities are full of themselves, but of course that would not include you..... Yogi

Mr. David:

"circumlocuitious" had me running for the dictionary. SI has always been a learning experience for me. No flame, but does this word exist?

Regards, mr.bill

Swisstrader posts a few childish flames on this board, and suddenly Joe Kernen has found a hero. LOL!

Joe, if you really are checking in on this board, congratulations to you and David Faber for this morning's report on Gruber's upgrade and downgrade of AT&T. The potential for conflicts of interest in analyst coverage is obvious to everyone, but it's rare that any reporter has the guts to point out a concrete example. Pieces like that one are what keep me tuned in to Squawk Box faithfully each morning. Hope you guys didn't take too much heat for it.

Ted: please tell Joe K thanks for that...board is starting to become the whipping post for all that ails the wayward investor..."Damn!, AMZN down 2 points, let me get on that SI CNBC board and beat on CNBC, they are truly at fault here and must be called to task for their misguidance".

Whether folks like it or not, CNBC has become the de facto standard for quality financial news reporting...Bloomberg, CNN and just about anything else out there pales in comparison...quick, name the lead anchor for Bloomberg or anyone one of their colorful (zzzzzz) reporters (answer: Indian guy with great accent, zero personality and no linkage to US mkts, can't do any others)...now, (even for those really down and out on CNBC) name me 5 CNBC newscasters...see how easy that was...or, how many CEO's or analysts are tripping over themselves to get on Bloomberg?...or, name a network where radio coverage is actually MORE exciting than TV coverage (answer: Bloomberg)...I think you get it.

If what you say is true about Joe, then I have lost much respect for him also.
