Have a good trip -- the American Girl store is one of the favorites of my wife and daughters -- my younger daughter turned 7 over the weekend and she has hardly let go of the doll she got from there as a birthday present ...

I wonder if the store is part of a publicly traded company ...

My wife and I and two of the kids went to the new Titanic exhibit last nite at the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago. You may want to add that to your Chi-town list of places to visit, I think the exhibit runs through September and tickets are available on-line:

msichicago.org

My 8-year old loved it.
