Then I got gold paint and a stencil roller and I'm going to border the cloths with that Greek design that I can;'t remember the name of. I have a bracelet from the Agora in Athens that I think is the right design-- it's all angles? Greek Key design

BTW, regarding the purple tablecloths... Think it could have been possible... The Greeks made a purple dye by crushing a type of shellfish...think it was called a porphyra...

Of course the Greeks had purple dye- it comes from the murex marine "snail". Vide:
