Advocating it. Looky Dave. SS is always having a no pay date.. when were T-bonds not paid? SS 1.7% vs T-bonds 6.5%? T-bonds you can sell when you need the money, SS you have to be 65 and get in dribbles. You need payment for a new roof, you want dribbles?

SS is a bankrupt system, T-bonds are backed by the full force of the US government. Oops, so is SSI but they do pay the T-bonds.

You want a maybe 1.7% return or a 6.5% return?
