Yougang,

I have to consider Transmeta to be pretty much of a don't care. Intel has mobile PIII at less than a watt, which will blow away Transmeta performance.

Yougang, TM is very much a media creation. they have yet to 'show and tell' anything that shatters earth.
Right now the pack seems to be pulling away from TM. Their speeds seems to be almost stone age. Now the CPUs are in the 1 watt area for the reasonable priced P-III even a TM product that used zero watts would only increase the battery life of a TFT 14.1 Inch system by a few minutes....maybe 30 or less compared to a 1 watt P-III as mentioned by Scumbria.
TM may do well in Palm type stuff with lean powered LCD screens and embedded niches.
Beats me what they are going to do....they seem to have gone hunting in the desert.
