I'm with ya pal. High of $46k ($25k of that was ECNC that I _didn't_ sell)...now sitting at $15k.

All I can tell my wife is to hang in there. All but two or three of my positions are still companies I strongly believe in and are continuing on the path they were on 2 months ago.

many lessons learned :>)

Bidder.

CCAA would be a good start to rebuilding your portfolio IMO.

PCBM and KLYS are also good ones.

JMHO, and I wish you the best in your future investments.

Hi Bidder,

I am honestly very sorry to hear about your paper losses. Like everyone else, I am down from my late March highs, and I wasn't even holding any of those gravity-defying OTCBB stocks.

My advice to you is:

If your wife's only criteria is for you to show a profit -- MOVE YOUR MONEY TO CASH !!

By close on Friday you will have more money than when you started. It won't be much more, but you wife didn't say HOW BIG A PROFIT.

When the coast is clear, come back and play with us !! (but this time, be more aggressive with profit taking and exiting bad positions)

My real advice to you is to stay in cash until until money starts coming back into the OTCBB. That could be a few days from now; it could be a few months .....

Good luck,
Chris

Bidder....IMO Chris has some pretty good advice there.

Most of us are showing huge losses, both real and on paper since mid March. Everyone is always learning here.

Today alone I've spoken on the phone with three people I know and trust. All three have played this game for much longer than I. All three play much bigger than I. All three told me they have never seen it this bad.

LOL, check this part of an email I just received...is this a sign? Hmmm, who would you trust more, a MORON, or a "Drunken Weasel" ???

"MORON, the owner of the mailing list 'ALERT',
has added you"

Not a regular poster but can identify
with your situation. Got knocked out of the game twice
due to bad decisions (emotion/margin). Made a hard decision
a month or so ago to totally sell out of all pennies. It
was tough because I was eating a 12K loss and I don't like
to eat that kind of money. I sold it all. Best move I ever
made. If I would have hung I would be down double that at
least. As it stands now I am still up considerably for the
year and am still trading. I start the day in cash and I
end the day in cash. All I'm doing right now is day trading
high dollar Naz stocks. Pennies on the whole are dead for
the time being. I'm not going to mess with them except for
the exceptional few which pop up on this board. Even then
its a quick in quick out. In this kind of market your money
has to move and above all cash is king. Not putting you
down, been there done that. Hang in there and don't think
of it as a 42K loss, think of it as 6K and where do I go
from here. Good luck.

tex

Don't worry Bidder, The markets may be bad, but I slept like a baby last night. I woke up every hour and cried.
