I'm a doctor and wouldn't consider buying HLTH. I think it is a good bet that quite a few small community hospitals will be closing over the next year. And physicians aren't going to invest any money in their practices with these prospects. What is the motivation to be efficient ( and buy HLTH products) if you're getting the run around by an HMO or, worse, you're capitated and get paid even if you never see a patient?

The current medical economy is a house of cards held up only by the moral scruples of physicians. The politicians have promised too much, and the country can't afford this level of medical care.
