me, myself and I think that post was really good.

except for the gloves and hat thing- I like gloves and hats and miss them terribly (of course I wouldn't want to be FORCED to wear them, but it's really not even an option anymore).

Karen,

The increasing crudeness of people in general really bothers me also. I remember a period of time on the old Prodigy boards in the early 1990's when one could go through hundreds and hundreds of posts in a subject like "investment theory" without ever encountering any real impoliteness or crude behavior, but those days are long gone..... Thank you for your very well thought out and interesting post. You are one of the best around here in my opinion, even if we do disagree about a few things.
What do you think of the increasing overuse of the words "going forward" in the English language today? Yesterday, in a live report on CNBC about the Fed's rate increase, Hampton Pearson said "going forward" four or five times in about a minute and a half! Then when the CEO's come on for live interviews, it's going forward time again! Sometimes I think I'm back in Tokyo watching the sumo matches, where "going forward" is the name of the game. <G> Yogi
