patron <The continued expansion of money supply into the second half of 1999 was not though> I agree -- and I think the fear of y2k was bogus. Y2K did not justify the explosion of liquidity. This reckless expansion ended early in the new year and we are seeing the bubble investment economy (new economy if you prefer) for what it is -- a dangerous and short-lived mania.

edit -- I am long some tech stocks based n their growth rate -- LSI and QCOM in particular.
