IVI Share Price

The much hyped date of May 26, 2000 has come and gone with little fanfare. However, Ingenico having approved its 150 million eurodollar bond issue now has (or soon will have) the means to purchase IVI. Furthermore, Ingenico is running out of time as the next quarter appears as if it will be a positive one for IVI. Ingenico risks a significant upward move in the share price if the "new" IVI business model begins to be successful. So, the best thing that IVI management can do to benefit its shareholders in the short term is to ensure good operating results. One question I have is why, if Ingenico only owns 7% of the company, has it been allowed two members on the Board. Surely IVI shareholders deserve, in fact should demand, that only the one director Ingenico is entitled to be on the Board. The second seat would be better held by someone with the interests of IVI shareholders in mind. Let's hope during negotiations with Ingenico the remaining board members remember who they truly represent...IVI shareholders.
