Hi Cheeky,

in reference to the first article, they fail to talk about how easy/trivial it is to alter the behavior of any windows program, with just a few simple tricks.

I used to write CBT (Computer based training) programs for a living and being able to control other applications, dis-allow functionality, etc was designed into the windows OS.

Using that same technology, any savy programmer could introduce 'virus' or other destructive behavior into any version of windows whether it be NT, 2000, 9x, or 3x.

The article didn't even address this issue. Its an area luckily not a lot of programmers know how to do.
