There are always stories to tell, but I am pretending to work at the moment, so I shouldn't indulge... The rainy season is finally here again; it started Saturday morning early, and hasn't stopped since. We've a bunch of Australians around, working on the construction of a base for an offshore oil rig; they wander about in a daze, mumbling vaguely about arks. I couldn't be happier, of course; the rivers rise, and I look forward to plunging into the wet places again....
