I realize that...and it is one of the reasons I haven't been actively looking into options trading. I'm sure a better understanding of options would be beneficial in understanding the trading range of a particular stock...especially during the third week of every month.

I think my "first step" will be to go through the CBOE "Options Toolbox"....and buy the book you mentioned. Thanks for the suggestions, and the offer of help. With my schedule (I'm always over committed with too many things to do, and never enough time!).....it will probably be a few months before I'm ready to think about Options seriously. (and then I'll probably try some "paper trading" of Options first)

Jan,

Covered my ORCL short @ 75 with a few points gain. Dont want Soros to squeeze little old me!
(However, will short again around 80 on low volume rally)
Waiting for QQQ @ 84+.
