Dan, Unfortunately, Sheila Jackson Lee is from Houston. The problem is, that she is a toady, and a clinton puppet. She probably would not have been elected but, too many conservative thinking people have moved out of the area of her district, and the city limits. For that same reason Lee Brown has been reelected as mayor for a second term. This guy was a dismal failure as police chief of Atlanta, an equal failure as Houston's police chief, and as Clinton's "drug czar". He has loaded as many positions as he can, with his cronies, such as the metro system, county hospital district, school system, police department, and fire department. He is the reason Tom Delay suspended funding for light rail. Brown was trying to ramrod that transit system through the door without following proper procedures. He has done nothing for the city except get a new baseball stadium built, and a new football stadium started. That doesn't sound so bad but, his buddies have been awarded the choice contracts without competitive bidding. I live in the county, and not in the city, so I can't even vote against him. ~;=;o --haqi
