My message counter is shown on the left margin. Hum, I never heard of it not being there. Maybe someone else has had that happen and can tell ya what to do it get it back.

are you talking about the counter that tells how many messages are in your inbox??

if so, and yours is missing, go to "customize" and select toolbar... make sure your "inbox" is selected as one of the links on yer toolbar.

ok doc- i figgered it out. go to customize, then to toolbar, and then uncheck the boxes that say, "show icons on the toolbar". then you'll get plain text on the toolbar instead of the fancy graphic text (which i guess they're calling icons) and the counter will show up next to the text that says "inbox".
