Hey Al:

I'm back for a while. Have a nice healthy boy and all is well family wise. The market's another story, eh? When 3400 failed, I thought 2900 was possible. Yesterday was a clear rally on the best volume in a month, a reaction more to an oversold market. I don't think it bounced off support and would rather have seen a full test of 2900. Still we'll go up for a while, question is how far and for how long. We need a good follow-through within 10 days, or we will test 2900.

Most of my stock were thrown out with the garbage; I bought CY at 36 1/2 and 39 yesterday, and IDTI at 35 and 38---never thought I'd get those prices again. I guess there were bargains everywhere: CSCO at 50, INTC at 109, YHOO at 113, ALTR at 71, etc. What I liked about yesterday was the strength all the big names had to lead this rally. Hopefully the little names I like will follow.

I'm going to bet on this rally and buy some Jan. options on my favorites.

best, cb
