Good morning Elmer and Thread, re: "did Paul say if he'd be posting here again?" He didn't say when, but Paul said several things... that he stopped reading SI when he was doing his taxes; he just got busy with taxes, and then he fell out of the routine of reading SI; he had other things to do - house projects, playing golf, spending time with his son, baseball, etc. I think he found himself suddenly busy with a lot of other things that crept into his life. And maybe he got a bit burned out on SI without realizing it. I noticed a lot of people stopped posting after the big market fluctuations - as if they were taking a break from it... (I noticed SI created a promotion to join around the same time too)...maybe folks were spending a lot of time managing their stocks when the market was swaying back and forth, and found they needed a break afterwards. 2 fund managers resigned on the Monday after the 2nd big dip. I think these fluctuations created a lot of extra work for people, and maybe some folks just wanted to take some time off. Just my guess. I would expect to see Paul back on SI. Maybe after a summer, but I really don't know when. Maybe earlier, maybe later. I did tell him he was missed on SI. He said hi to everyone (and he even said "hi" to the folks on the AMD thread : ) When I asked him to post on SI, he said something about playing golf sounds funner at the moment, which is why I think he's probably going to take some time off. He has been posting for a very long time. Probably needs a vacation from it. He's earned it. He sounds like he's having fun doing a lot of outdoor activities. I bet we'll see him back by the end of the summer. He told me he was thinking of buying some more INTC (this was prior to the stock split) - he hasn't sold any INTC, he just keeps increasing his position. He was thinking of selling some of his AMD options (this was before Micron's announcements). I forgot to ask him what he thinks about AMD right now. I think the high demand will help both companies a lot this year. I haven't figured out what to do with the AMD options I have. I'd like to sell those before Willy. But I've been holding on to them because the demand is high. What are you doing? I'd like to hear if Intel said anything at the shareholder's meeting about demand in the 2H. If Intel can't meet all of its demand in 2H, then I'll hold AMD options longer. (But even Willy has Scumbria convinced Intel has something really hot). Did anyone hear anything at the shareholder's meeting regarding Intel's ability to meet demand in 2H? Best, Amy J
