Coming from a boat background... BTW, a HORSE makes a boat look like a mutual fund. Anyway, be sure that your Jeep doesn't require many cold cranking amps because the batteries with the thick plates (deep cycle) aren't designed for starting engines. Also it's not a bad idea to keep that puppy hooked up to a trickle charger.
