MikeM, I can't offer anything specific for you to hang your hat on, but I've been thinking all along that the increased use of VPNs will provide an increasing market opportunity for ICA. --Mike Buckley

MikeM: My comments were more specific to adding a web layer to the processing cycle. Most webservers are very slow when it comes to serving dynamically constructed pages. A lot of sites run cgi code written in perl or something like that that are super-slow. And, dynamic pages is what you need to tailor an interaction with each individual user. I don't know the theoretical limits to the number of simultaneous connections an ICA host. I think that when people talk of serving 1000s of webusers, they are usually thinking in terms of a different class of machines. This is not to say that one can't design a web app to be efficient.
