This is how it's to be read.

It is somewhat incomprehensible that even the DM, which belongs to a country whose inflation is far lower than US's, is falling, and the DM price of gold rising vs the USD price of gold. But this movement confirms that the traditional relationship between gold and paper is intact. The relationship between inflation and currency, is however, is stranger than 3 eyed fish.
