how many of you have the various chart options turned on via preferences? (like auto-complete charts, 'show price bar', 'default to expanded charts', etc.) of the options, I would think auto-complete charts could be a possible time delay offender. I have none of that stuff on. also no 'news ticker at logon'. no 'float navigation menu', only 1 'quote services to use'... i figure the less stuff to send to me the quicker. [i tried out the autocomplete charts before and found it was hit-or-miss on whether it was correct or not--could be better now] stuff like the 'searches/sorts', and portfolio activity/summary are going to take time of course. I find certain times of the day are worse than other. the default charts, w/o all the extra options, should load quickly as I imagine those are stored statically.
