Allen,
First of all, a belated welcome back. Your ability to flush out 'public' knowledge and present it I find unique and effective. I very much enjoy thinking through your posts.

In any case, assuming that your logic is correct, and WIND is like a coil getting ready to spring, I only have one problem with this scenario: the fact that WIND is obviously in acquisition mode.

Wouldn't it behoove the company to try to get the stock a little higher so that acquisitions are not as dilutive? I know the counter-arguement is that if WIND does not deliver, the Street will punish the stock and 'give up' on management. BUT, I would argue that this has already happened. In fact, I think we are well along the path towards gaining momentum again. And if credibility were to be lost again (WIND being put into the Wall St. penalty box), the numbers, and visibility, soon enough will be too good to pass up on anyway.

I have noticed a much better focus on investor relations since St. Dennis came aboard (and since the merger), so I do think we are moving in the right direction. But, I like it when WIND acquires additional pieces (knowing full well the future value will be much greater than the price paid). I just hate to see 'too much' dilution.

Go WIND.

PS - I have a colleague who attended Kevin Landis' presentation in Vegas this week. He related to me that VERY FEW of the attendees had ever heard of Wind River before. It is pretty exciting to think of how much upside there is with this stock.

Allen,

I am primarily a gorilla stock investor, but I have been accumulating WIND over the past year. I would appreciate your take as to when or if you think WIND will attain gorilla status. In addition, what do you think needs to occur before it becomes a gorilla in its space?
