Actually, you CAN control the horizontal scale with a trick. Turn off the auto scale (pull down Chart, click Price Scale, click auto off). Then go to Studies, click Bollinger Bands, increase the Std deviation to, say, 10 ... enter it ... you have effectively controlled the horizontal scale.

You can Remove All Studies and it will hold. But without any studies.

If you have an oscillator you like, just keep the exaggerated BBands running.

There are a lot of "tricks" possible with QCharts ... you should accumulate them from some of your customers and put them in a file accessible to all.
