During a sharp down day last month, CNBC had on Robert Shiller, author of "Irrational Exuberance". Ron Insana began the interview by saying, "Now, we aren't trying to make things worse by having Robert on the show, so don't think we want to scare the market any more than it is...." Now, just picture this: There is a rip-roaring rally, and CNBC brings on any one of its bullish lemmings, e.g. Tom Galvin. Now, imagine the host saying, "We're sorry to pour gasoline on the fire, we really don't want to drive this crazy market any higher." The very idea sounds ludicrous, and this is evidence of CNBC's bullish bias. Tom
