Chic <I was refering to my uncle's full service broker out of Bear Stearns. My uncle bought 1000 shares of AMD in a different account a few days before Q1 earnings. Then he called the guy at Bear Strearns and set him up (didn't tell him he had bought some AMD) and said, "so how about that AMD, they sure have made a run?" That's when the broker replied by bashing AMD. My uncle is on a 3 month adventure throughout the middle east and europe, so I'm not sure if the guy at Bear Stearns changed his mind after Q1 earnings or not. He gets back in the middle of June, I'll find out if his broker is still bashing AMD then.>

It kind of makes you wonder what AMD will be valued at after it shows another 4 or 5 quarters of profitability, low operating costs (even w/Dresden) and increased market share. When the Bear Stearns of the world jump on the bandwagon.

<This turning into a nasty day.>

At least AMD is holding its own.
