My record as a daytrader is pretty terrible, so short-term predictions from me aren't worth the screen-space they take up (to coin an updated cliche).

I don't follow NERX closely, but I think it has been in the thrall of daytraders, shorts and mo-mo types for a while, and so price moves become even less significant than usual. It's also options expiration week in a very volatile stock. Don't see the other ASCO stocks moving a lot, but some are up today (e.g., IMCL). Don't recall how leaky NERX has been historically - this is easy to check for yourself, though - just check out the historical price moves in relationship to the time of previous good announcements. My vague recollection is that there wasn't much movement prior to their last "we've cured cancer in mice" announcement.

Just a warning to any newcomers to this thread, by the way. I'm no scientist, and on scientific issues you should get your input from the usual SI scientist bionuts. Rick had a list on the VRTX thread recently, to which Rick himself should of course be added:
