OK, but Incyte doesn't just patent gene sequences. They describe the function of the gene patented, and describe a method of treating disease. I've copied part of an abstract of one of Incyte's patents below, with the part I think is relevant in bold letters. One question, I've been reading that some gene company's patents may be challenged because the patents don't describe the "invention" in sufficient detail that others can replicate it, believe it's Incyte, do you know?
