Probably for now, PC600 is still priced sky-high. But I feel if bad yields are scaring the DRAM guys from making the transition to RDRAM production, then Intel could propose the PC600 Timna solution and guarantee a market for such lower-speed parts. Such a solution may cost more than the SDRAM Timna platform, but at least Intel can sell both platforms at the same time (Timna w/ SDRAM for the really cost-concious, Timna w/ PC600 RDRAM for those who care a little more about performance.)
