M$FT is so busy with its own problems they aren't
causing anyone in the industry to lose sleep at this
time.

Don't hold your breath waiting for W2K to challenge

Don't forget the appliance market, the server market, etc. PC's are just a portion of the potential clients. I think MS will be forced to standardize on the Java standard in IE. They're getting surrounded by all the other clients and servers. SUNW'w doing an excellent job of surrounding them.
