For the thread. LHG's report from EKHO I made it to the EKHO road show today at the wellsite. It was attended by the local TV and radio media, along with analyst from Canada and local stock holders. (Berkley even had a scout there) All told there were about 30 people there. There was no formal presentation, it was more like a round robbin interview with each media outlet interviewing different parties one at a time. At times there were 3 or 4 interviews going on at once. The rig made for a nice backdrop for the TV interviews! The radio had to settle for the drone of diesel engines :-( The questions were basic inquiries and gave Tri Valley the opportunity to give the usual information. I must say they seemed VERY optimistic with hints that the logs reveal just what they had hoped for. Of course they talked about the low cost of the well, the large area of possible reserve potential, the record drilling to 19,000', the record one bit drill run of just over 10,000' and the new technology. I wanted to ask a few questions but had no press pass so couldn't get it in ;-) ;-) I never heard anyone ask about the open hole completion?? Maybe they talked about that with the analysts in private. All in all there was no new information released, it was just another chance to get there story out. I will say again they are upbeat and are anticipating a nice flare during testing. Earlier today I was talking with a geologist familiar with this play and he indicated that the logs indicate they may have a successful flow test. EKHO continues to make life a little more interesting! Good luck, LHG PS Let me tell you guys from Canada we're are not all that happy with our stateside brews either! BUD IS NOT BEER, IT'S BUD, and I'm not sure what Bud is ;-) Sorry to you Bud fans. Here in Calif we tend to gravitate tword the Mexican brews. Please bring samples from Canada when you come to visit, SJ and myself are working up quite a thirst in this desert.
