otot o-e, I like Extreme based on valuation and projected growth. It does remain unclear as to how much of the 3Com business that they will get. tp

optical editor, I am unaware that Extreme has an optical ethernet solution. It was my impression that Extreme has gigabit ethernet over copper but not over fiber. Correct me if I am wrong about this.
