Friendly Trader: I think your take is a good take.

I'm bored with this market. I have a whole slew of buy orders in place to pick up QQQ at falling prices below my current holding price, which is 84. Other than that, I'm not interested in much except a few really solid stocks that I might pick up when they hit my dream-price targets.

This market should not forget that Greenie is NOT finished with his rate-hikes......nor should it forget the impact of those hikes on future earnings reports. I can't see holding a bunch of stocks that are going to disappoint mildly or wildly on their earnings reports in the second half of this year.

I also can't see taking the risk of shorting when there are still a lot of traders who will drive up and take short-term gains on specific stocks. You need to have the proper mindset for this climate, and I just don't have it this year. Perhaps this is a form of "capitulation" which the market has been waiting for, before its next big rally.

I do believe it will have a big rally and am bullish for the long-term.....just bored with short-term.

Agreed, daytraders need volume and volatility without either many are on the sidelines.
