Update from BH225, micro/macro counts from the three new discovered Alberta pipes and the NWT pipe should be out by the end of June. We may see the news out in segments. It would not surprise me if we hear of news prior to June 9th, 2000. Stock is dead, no buyers/few sellers. Market Depth is stronger on the buy side and weak to $1.00... Wait and see!
Ashton is a good buy for speculative accounts. Any interesting results, will see the stock go up fast.

Mr. David Robertson reports
Robert T. Boyd has been appointed as the corporation's new president and chief executive officer. Mr. Boyd's appointment will be effective June 1, 2000, at which time he will also become a director of the corporation.
A mining executive with more than 25 years of experience in exploration, executive-level management and corporate finance, Mr. Boyd comes to Ashton from Geographe, International MFS Inc., a financial advisory firm where he was a founding principal and major shareholder. Prior to Geographe, Mr. Boyd was vice-president of exploration for Homestake Canada Limited where he was responsible for Homestake's Canadian exploration, financial and administrative group. Mr. Boyd will lead Ashton's continuing exploration, financing and acquisition efforts as its highly experienced staff pursues an extensive program of growth through strategic partnerships and exploration for diamonds in North America.
Mr. Boyd commented: "I am excited and enthusiastic about leading the next stage of growth for Ashton. The recently announced rights offering will provide me with the rare opportunity of overseeing a well financed company that has a major shareholder prepared to support our continued development."
Mr. Boyd replaces John S. Auston, who earlier announced his retirement effective May 31, 2000. The board of directors commands Mr. Auston for his four years with Ashton, in which be made a considerable contribution to the corporation through his leadership and vision.

Seems like AML Australia may have succeeded in keeping the stock below .80 so they can subscribe to most if not all of the 7mil shares, their control will move up close to 70%. What does this do to current shareholders? excellent.. AML Canada does not trade their stock and dilution is nil to the market. Stock should start to move next week. IMo, Merrill Lynch is the biggest seller and my experience tells me they have something to do with keeping the stock down for AML. Merrill Lynch DOES NOT WANT the stock above .90....

Project NWT and/or Alberta News will be out no later than the week of June 26th.
