No, I don't wonder at all, frankly. Since he is young, and so intimately acquainted with not only the company he sold --UNPH-- but also the company who bot UNPH, ... I frankly suspect he not only has stepped onto a yacht as you so colorfully described it, but also has big designs for using JDSU stock and options to generating play money via option strategies, PLUS with his JDSU stock and options, he now has the luxury of using JDSU as "currency" for whatever he has up his entrepreneurial sleeve next when he emerges in a different format. I doubt there is another CEO who has a grasp of the scarcity of highlevel technically trained people outthere in the field of fibre optics than KK. My guess is he's got something juicy lined up and in the fullness of time, as old Ed Hart (CNBC/FNN) usta say... Who knows...maybe we have another Greg McCaw and his almost single-handed funding of the Free Willie ---a new breed of philanthropist in the making... I'll be watching with great interest.
