Benkea - excellent link! I keep saying that the "what were we thinking of" specials, followed up by the inevitable congressional investigations, are not far off. What might distinguish now from 1929 is not that a crash or destruction of wealth will occur, but that a better informed and connected public might actually have a chance at thrashing those complicit in it. Of course, many folks will have themselves to blame, but they will want to lash out none the less. Should make for entertaining television.
