Actually they have and they promote it rather prominently on their website. Of course I think you mean why no banner ads on IT related websites....hmmm...I would like to see some of that happening. You know like at cnet.com, cmp.com, nwfusion.com - maybe even msn.com just for kicks :)

In fact, Novell's ShopNovell was ranked in the top 100 e-commerce sites last year (I'll have to look it up but I think it was Network World).

I believe ShopNovell began last year (announced at BrainShare 99) and continues to become a larger "channel" for Novell product sales. They also are promoting an "affliate" program so that websites can participate in promoting the ShopNovell area. In all, it's a very nice piece of work.

It's built completely on IBM's WebSphere on NetWare (from what I've been told). Sure Novell could and SHOULD get that story into the trade magazines I agree!

Just as an FYI, you can't find the same thing at MSFT.com last time I checked....
