Out of curiosity, is that a bet on MSFT morphing into new business lines, or do you expect that MSFT will be able to maintain growth in it's traditional business lines? -JCJ

John,

MSFT in 50s, and count me in as a buyer

Your optimism and positive predictions for MSFT have dropped substantially lately. Are you now seeing th light that MSFT will not be seeing the triple digits in the forseeable future?

I guess reality has even sunk in for you. Good to hear as its for your own benefit to base investment decisions on real world events and not on MSFT's history of stock performance.

As I mentioned last year, MSFT will be and now has entered a new era in its company life-cycle. The MSFT of the past will likely not ever be seen again - or at least until fundamental transformations occur within the company and its old business rules. And since I dont predict that Bill Gates or Steve B. have the ability to break this paradigm that they have been in for 10 plus years, I dont see any significant positive change in MSFT's stock price.

Cheers!
