Gary, To support something, I would guess that you have to have it....tp Sr. Technical Support Engineers This position involves providing direct support to premier telecom customers and indirect support on critical issues for the rest of the support organization. The ideal candidates will have a BSEE/CS with 8+ years experience in the Networking or Telecomm industry. A background in post?sale customer support is required, including a thorough knowledge of routing protocols, network architectures and transmission infrastructures. Expert knowledge of BGP4, and OSPF or Integrated IS-IS required. Knowledge of ATM, PPP, MPLS, SONET/SDH, WDM, a plus. Must have demonstrated organizational, communication and customer relation skills. . Will provide 8 x 5 normal schedule coverage with rotating pager duty for 7 x 24 coverage. Approximately 20% travel required.
