Friday May 19, 2:20 am Eastern Time Allianz, Cisco form Internet partnership MUNICH, May 19 (Reuters) - German insurer Allianz AG has chosen U.S. Internet networking company Cisco Systems Inc (NasdaqNM:CSCO - news) as its global strategic technology partner, the insurer said on Friday. Allianz opted for Cisco as its adviser on e-business initiatives and worldwide partner for its data, voice and video network, Allianz said in a statement. The partnership would concentrate on electronic commerce, customer care, improvements in internal procedures and the development of Allianz's information technology infrastructure.
