Phish: Bittersweet Hotel to Hit Theatres in August

Phish has just announced that they have come to an agreement with Image Entertainment to distribute the movie Phish: Bittersweet Hotel theatrically in all major North American markets beginning in August. The movie is the band?s first feature-length film. It was directed by Todd Phillips, who recently won the Jury Prize for Best Documentary at the Sundance Film Festival. Bittersweet Hotel was filmed over a two year period and followed Phish on the road as they toured the U.S. and Europe.

The band performed at an undisclosed location in the Bay Area last night. The set was taped and will air on San Francisco radio station KFOG 104.5 FM tonight at 9 p.m. PST. You can also listen on the web at kfog.com .

A very small number of tickets for Phish?s sold out two-night stand at New York?s Radio City Music Hall May 21 and 22 were released today at noon. They sold out within five minutes.
