Could this be the bottom for NOVL?

Well the stock finished a fraction over 9. That means about a million shares of NOVL are going to be bought at $10 a share on Monday.

Perhaps it was Novell itself selling the Puts and taking back the stock?

My records show that most of the action in these puts took place on May 8th when over 10,000 moved at a price between 3/8ths and 1/2 on the second day the Put was available for trading.

So the writer of these puts is definitely under water by at least 1/2 pt. And they have to come up with $10 million on Monday to pay for the stock. They can't break even unless the stock moves up at least 1/2 point on Monday.

I see this as bullish.
