gdichaz,

There are five Taiwanese manufacturers so far that are going to do OEM CDMA phones or license to produce their own CDMA phones. Remember these companies are current strong manufacturers to make notebooks and other PC related products. They see the future in CDMA and pursue it goal accordingly.

The first shipment from an OEM company is sent to its US customer by May 31. This company indicated its intention to do CDMA phones is to take a position from being a 3G CDMA phone manufacturer in the future. It targets to send 300,000 to 500,000 phones by this year end.

Other companys' CDMA products are coming out soon too.
