The real danger to the equity market here is that by the time Greenspan is finished raising rates by the summer, the US economy may be immersed in its worse recession in decades and the selling will continue.

The American Public and Polyannas are counting on another soft landing.

Well, it seems to me you could use an employment increase in some of these places right?? I'm not saying it's 'bullish' or whatever... creative destruction sounds about right :).
