You have to check this out...centerbeam.com Dr. Glenn Ricart is EVP and chief technology officer of CenterBeam, where he is identifying and architecting new solutions that are "making the Internet work for small business." Dr. Ricart is responsible for the technical strategy of the company and is spearheading its research and development projects. Prior to joining the company, he served as chief technology officer of Novell, Inc. where he was responsible for the development and architecture of its current technologies and the creation of its technology future. He led research and advanced development efforts and also supervised participation in industry and research forums. Dr. Ricart's previous position at Novell was senior vice president of corporate research and development. Before joining Novell, Dr. Ricart helped to shape the future of computing and networking at the Advanced Research Projects Agency of the United States Department of Defense. He's credited with building the original NSFnet backbone, a seminal part of the Internet connecting national supercomputing centers. Dr. Ricart was also a member of the computer science department at the University of Maryland at College Park. For 13 years he was director of its Computer Science Center and the assistant vice chancellor for academic information technology. During this time, he also started SURAnet, the world's first Internet service provider. Dr. Ricart currently serves on the boards of CACI, Inc. and First USA Financial Services. His experience also includes service on the boards of the National Association of State Universities and Land Grant Colleges, EDUCOM, Seminars on Academic Computing, the Corporation for Research and Education Networking, The Santa Cruz Operation, Inc. and the Federation of American Research Networks. Dr. Ricart holds a bachelor's degree in engineering from Case Institute of Technology, a master's in computing and information sciences from Case Western Reserve University and a Ph.D. in computer science from the University of Maryland at College Park.
