Eat At Joe's Ltd. Signs Letter of Intent To Acquire 16 Unit Regional Restaurant Chain


CHERRY HILL, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 5, 1999 Eat at Joe's, Ltd. (OTC BB:JOES), a 1950s Style Diner Chain, has signed a Letter of Intent to acquire a 16 unit regional restaurant chain, it was announced Tuesday by Gino Naldini, President and Chief Operating Officer of Eat at Joe's.

Mr. Naldini noted that ``this acquisition, when completed, would add approximately $10 million annually of profitable revenue to Eat at Joe's existing revenue stream, and would more than double the size of the Company.''

Joseph Fiore, Chairman and CEO of Eat at Joe's, stated, ``we are continuing with our business plan of creating a diversified restaurant organization and look forward to 1999 being a very exciting year for the Company in both terms of acquisitions and internal revenue growth.''

``Additional details relating to the terms of the purchase and other information concerning the acquisition will be released upon the signing of the final Purchase Agreement,'' Fiore added.

Eat at Joe's is a diversified restaurant organization initially building a new chain of 1950's style diners featuring quality, home-cooked American meals at affordable prices in an appealing and fun atmosphere.
