Tony, unfortunately, I only have a feel for LA and maybe Europe. I should be looking further globally, but other than ALA, my experiences to date have been less than ideal, despite very attractive valuations. I can tell you, in the case of LA, stock fundamentals still hardly matter, despite a what appears to be a strong economic recovery. You have to be prepared to stay on top of macro-economic events, currency fluctuations, emerging market investor jitters, and the impact of US fed actions. The bovespa in Brazil has absolutely no mind of it's own any longer. It used to move generally with the DOW, and sometime late last year/early this year started moving in synch with the 'daq, though generally exaggerated in whatever direction we're moving.

Anyway, looks to be some very compelling values developing in US stocks and I'll probably generally keep my money at home for now. I think the bloodbath is about over and expect about a 50% retracement to the upside over the summer. I think we maybe hit 'daq 2900-3000 and up we go to 4000 over the next couple months. I've been buying slowly, and will either buy more stock or double options positions in CS, TNE, ALSC, ALA, CPQ and WCOM over the next couple weeks. May pick up new positions on TCP, ORCL, AFCI, CUBE and a few others I've been watching like SYKES that comes highly recommended<g> and maybe even T. I'm going to look at semi's and semi-equips again over the next few days...NVLS is an old, old favorite of mine. Opportunities like this don't come often anymore, and I expect when it turns, it'll turn sharply but will fall significantly short of the exhuberance we saw earlier this year.

I'd be interested in any moves you make, especially in regards to developing countries. I would recommend Brazil Telecoms through the end of the year at these levels. TNE as a slower safer move, and TCP as a faster mover. I like many others of the 12 babies, but already own stock in all of them and only play options on new plays.

regards,

sf
